Welcome to Blaenau, our 16th Century Traditional Welsh Longhouse, where all of our horse riding holidays start and finish. Some lucky guests get to stay here too – our weekend and midweek breaks are based here, and the Trans-Wales Trail starts and finishes with a stay at Blaenau.
We offer pub and picnic rides, fully-inclusive weekends based here on our farm, and trail-riding holidays where riders stay in small inns along the way, and their luggage is transported each night.
We have an amazing herd of over 30 registered Welsh Section D cobs, bred here by us on the farm for over forty years – these horses are forward-going and responsive, uniquely suited to the challenging terrain that is their home. Living together as a herd, and with us since birth, they are super-relaxed and friendly.
We are in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park, between Hay-on-Wye and Brecon.
