WALK IN THE WOODS AT GARWNANT, COED TAF FAWR
Woodland Visit - Garwnant Visitor Centre
For a great day out for the whole family why not explore one of the many woodlands open to the public within the Brecon Beacons National Park.
Garwnant Visitor Centre, owned and managed by Forestry Commission Wales, is situated in Coed Taf Fawr, a large area of forestry situated in the National Park and Fforest Fawr Geopark. Coed Taf Fawr is a large mixed woodland with pleasant walks and streams running through it. It is nestled around three reservoirs, with beautiful views.
Sample Itinerary
10.30 am Arrive for morning or full day out at woodland.
10.30 - 11.00 am Explore Visitor Centre.
11.00 - 12.00 pm Enjoy one of the walks mapped from the centre, try the low rope assault course, explore the bike trail or simply enjoy the woodland environment.
12.15 - 1.15 pm Lunch.
1.20pm Further exploration of Centre and woodland, visit Llwyn-onn reservoir (Beacons Bus) or depart for home.
