Enjoy Sunday lunch and a stroll or a bike ride in Talgarth

Arrive after breakfast and park in the free main town car-park. If you visit on the first Sunday of the month you can enjoy the Country Market for the best of local craft and produce otherwise enjoy a mornings walk. Set at the foot of the Black Mountains, Talgarth, once the ancient Capital of Brycheiniog, has much to see and offer. The Brecon Beacons National Park produces a booklet with details of both a gentle one mile town walk and also some more challenging walks into the mountains around the town.
When you have worked up an appetite you can then enjoy lunch at one of the town Centre pubs, cafes or tea garden.
To round off a perfect Sunday you can then either hop back in the car and drive or jump on your bike and cycle via a dedicated cycle path to the Old Railway Line Nursery at Three Cocks which consistently wins awards for customer service.
