The Three Castle Walk starts nearby and takes in Skenfrith, Grosmont and Whitecastle, three small but still impressive castles in Monmouthshire.

Distance: 18.6 miles This walk around the Welsh Marches takes in the three Norman castles of Skenfrith, Grosmont and Whitecastle. From Abergavenny, the best starting point is White Castle which is around eight miles from Abergavenny along the B4521 (Old Ross Road), signposted Skenfrith.
