Events and festivals in Brecon Beacons during May

Hay Market – held every Thursday
Trading for over 700 years, Hay Market Day is a vibrant local market held in the centre of Hay-on-Wye every Thursday 9:00am to 2.30pm. Find out more here.
Talgarth Walking Festival
29 April – 02 May 2022. Talgarth Walking Festival offers great scenery and nature, as well as the opportunity to learn about local history, geology and literature.
Royal Welsh Smallholding and Countryside Festival
21 May 2022. The Royal Welsh Smallholding and Countryside Festival is a celebration of smallholding and rural life. The two day festival has an action-packed programme of entertainment, have-a-go educational activities, talks, workshops, displays and performances. Buy your tickets here.
