Set on an organic farm with spectacular views of the Brecon Beacons, Aber Glamping in the Brecon Beacons National Park has lots of glam touches to make your stay a breeze. And even better, it’s in a Dark Sky reserve – so hopefully you’ll get the chance to see the Milky Way glinting far above on clear evenings.
You’ll sleep on proper beds in domes that are spacious yet warm and cosy when zipped up. Comfy extras include soft furnishings to make you feel at home, and blankets are on hand for chillier evenings – you can snuggle up around the firepit or picnic table with a glass of wine in hand, and settle down to enjoy the sound of the rural Welsh countryside.
Each dome comes with a cooking area in a little hut holding a stove and a cool box, cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery –and not forgetting that all-important corkscrew.
There is a bus stop three miles away, and with advance warning, the site owners can pick guests up from there – and once on site there’s a whole host of family-friendly farm experiences to book, from sheep trekking to felting workshops (extra charge).
