Woodland Park Glamping in the Brecon Beacons
Woodland Park offers an off-grid, exclusive woodland site like no other. Somewhere to experience real luxury and relax in a beautiful natural environment.
Our cosy cabins and pods are nestled within our 35 acre beautiful ancient woodland yet are just five miles from the historic town of Brecon and surrounding Brecon Beacons National Park.
Each cabin and pod are totally secluded, offering a peaceful woodland haven of tranquility for our guests. The perfect holiday hideaway to escape and relax.
Step out of your cabin each morning into a nature wonderland filled with flowers, birds and wildlife. Wander up to our ponds and watch the dragonflies, pond dip for tadpoles or just admire the water lilies and sit and read a book. As you amble through the woodland discover wild orchids, mosses, fungi and ferns and enjoy spotting rare birds and butterflies. If you’re lucky you may spot wild rabbits, hares, foxes and squirrels.
At night sit around your very own roaring fire pit for alfresco dining and cooking, toast marshmallows, listen to the owls and as the light fades, have your breath taken away by the star filled skies.
Children will love the freedom to build dens, hunt bugs, whittle sticks, climb trees and soak up the outdoors.
OFF GRID
Woodland Park is entirely off-grid but this doesn’t mean “basic”. We provide a comfortable luxury stay which is environmentally sustainable.
With careful management of limited resources it’s possible to give our guests all the comforts of home, plus some added luxuries. Our power is generated by solar panels, bottled gas and we harvest rain water.
Woodland Park is designed to minimise impact on the environment in the surrounding woodland, as such many areas are left untouched as nature reserves which attracts an abundance of wildlife, flora and fauna. This is why we provide you with eco-friendly and chemical free toiletries and cleaning products. So please don’t bring your own, unless they’re bug friendly!
Paths within the wood are not lit at night, so bring a torch! Energy efficient LED lighting is used only where essential. This means that on clear nights the starry sky is spectacular! Great for star gazing and also means minimal effect on the wildlife.
The birds and insects on the site benefit greatly from the grassed areas. Flowering plants are being routinely added to encourage more varieties of butterflies, moths and bees.
Woodland Park is not just a holiday destination – it’s a little corner of ‘what does you good!
