Come and join us for an adventurous horse-riding holiday, and explore the Black Mountains on horseback!
We run day rides, weekends and longer trail riding holidays for adult (12 upwards) competent horse riders, comfortable at all paces. Our small groups are usually made up of between 4-7 riders, and we get lots of riders coming alone, so it is a very relaxed and sociable holiday.

Here at Trans-Wales we breed our own beautiful Welsh Section D cobs. Registered with the Welsh Cob Society under the Trans Wales name, our horses range from 14.2- 16.2hh. Each year we breed around 4-6 foals and youngsters join our riding herd when they are four years old.
This means our horses are part of the family, and we’ve known them since birth. They are not acquired from dealers or sales each year, but are instead part of a herd of brothers and sisters, which makes for exceptionally relaxed and confident horses.
Our horses are very reliable, friendly and sure-footed, guaranteed to give you an excellent ride.
It’s not unknown for a rider to fall in love with their horse and take it home! Occasionally we do sell horses – our prices range from £4000-8000.
